International: The system is equipped with IOT technology that records the power generation in realtime. The power generation data is directly correlated to the weather. By joining the intensity of the solar radiation (as a function of watts produced by the solar panels) with the location of the installation, a realtime weather map can be created. The big data model can be beneficially utilized in a broad range of applications, for example assisting meteorology studies in weather forecasts.
The reduction in power generation demand on the power plants results in a carbon credit offset. Each Urbanflo PV2Heat system saves approx 2 tons of CO2 per year. By obtaining carbon credit accreditation, the units can practically pay for themselves from the carbon credit sales.
